Schwa's Spectro

I have just opened up Spectro for the first time, ever, just now cos of some pops and clicks i need to be rid of and am wondering just how this works. Ive removed the parts I need removed (visually, inside Spectro), but do i need to render as a new take or do I just keep the Spectro plug attached in place until final render? Or are both approaches adequate?

Am i the only one that doesn't understand a thing he just wrote?

I think both approaches a adequate (since they basically are both render-processes) but it's been quite some time since I used Spectro.

I Ike using these kind of fx as item ones as then you can render to new take to free up processing power but still very easily get back to the original take to tweak and then re-render to a new take again. :)

OK guys. I got it to work. I needed to run reaper as administrator first. I think this is one of those plugins that needs to have the host run as administrator in order to fully unlock. I did that once, and now it seems to work well as an item FX and using the command that renders the item as new take. Just for your info, I'm running Reaper 4.55 x64 on Windows 8.1 Pro x64. I typically don't run Reaper as administrator, as some plugins don't like it. I've found that some plugins need to be run as administrator once in order for the authorization to stick. Some, like IK's Sampletank, need their data moved from a non system disk in order to work properly. (Can't wait for ST3 to come out!)
