My Pro Tools....died! Help!

Hi, Upon opening my version of Pro Tools LE on my XP-running computer, I received the following error message: "The software requires installation of certain device drivers and a reboot before running. Please reboot or reinstall the software." I rebooted several times, and when that didn't appear to work, I uninstalled the program and reinstalled from the cd. I keep getting the same error message. I'm now assuming something else that's not Pro Tools is causing an error. Does anyone have any ideas about this? I'll provide further specifics about the computer if needed. Please help! I would uninstall a soundblaster if you have one. I would also delete any expired plug-ins. I would also make sure my PACE files are updated. Delete the Dalwdm.sys file in Windows. Reinstall and pray.

Andrew - Some plug-ins use a challenge/response system to protect multiple installations such as Waves. Pace keeps track of the authorisations and loads them when PT loads. For more info:
