outboard gear

I use a 31 band eq and compressor for the final mix on the master fader wile bouncing. The ones I have are only moderate---can anybody recommend a good tube eq and compressor for that, something in good budget..500.00 and under. thanks stix. Also has anybody ever used the Carvin studio mixer for ther pre's and how does it sound---I really want to up grade my system and dont know which way to go---im using a g4 800 with ptle 5.1.1 and a peavey src series mixer for the pre;s. thanks

Hi, I'm wondering what you bounce to. If you bounce internal, the stock plug-ins offer some good tools. For $500 you could afford some others. Do you bounce externally to an analog format or digital? MR

I believe I bounce internally--on my master fader I put a dither first then the next insert below the dither is I/O to the 31 band analoq and analoq compressor---I dont know how to bounce externally--how do you do that I might be interested---thanks ART makes a 212 tube compressor and Bellari makes tube compressor have you heard of these
