Big problem when inserting empty space in a track!

Hi, on certain tracks that have alot of tempo/time sig changes, i often have a problem inserting empty space in the start of the song. The problem is that i can make empty space, but the bars in the start becomes a totaly different tempo, lenght and i dont get exactly the amount of bars i wanted, but a little piece of a other bar too. It is a pic in the attachments to illustrate. Here is the project file so you guys can try yourself, and see if it happens to you too. Just try to insert a few beats of empty space right in the start. (right click on the link) Is anyone familiar with this? Is it a bug or what? Is it any way to fix it?

Maybe it's just me but I don't seem to be able to download from that link. When I click on download it opens another page, when I click 'free download' there it says 'You should sign up or login to use this feature'. Maybe use another filehoster (eg Dropbox) or simply attach the .rpp here ? Anyway, on topic, I ran into the same problem some time ago, maybe you can gather some info there. (haven't rechecked though if it still behaves the same with recent version)

Try this before inserting empty space: Rightclick the first tempo marker (77 BPM), -> Edit time signature marker, Tick the box called "Start new measure, time signature" Now insert empty space, does it work correctly now ?

I think i found the solution! Go to file -> project settings -> project tempo, and make the default tempo the same as in the area you want to change.
