Anyone using SATA drives on TDM HD systems?

I have used SATA drives on a Mac system and I found that if you are using a PCI based SATA adapter you will have problems. The load on the PCI buss is too great for the Digi cards to work, you will get DAE errors. If you are using the SATA buss on the motherboard, you should be fine. Good Luck.

The chipset on this MB has 3 channels of ATA and 4 channels of SATA and is supposed keep disk i/o off of the PCI buss via a new I/O controller hub, so it sounds promising. Thanks for the reply.
