PlexWriter 121032TA able to write 900MB CDRs ?

Hi, does anybody know for sure if the plextor burner 121032ta is able to write a 900mb cdr? some answers here could spare me some bucks, which i would appreciate very much :) thanks in advance

Nope, it is not. Sorry. About 8 months ago I bought my second PlexWriter (24x) and a friend of mine a LiteOn (16x). At first I thought mine could read and write everything. So I'm sure you can understand me being disappointed when I found out his could read and write the 99mins with ease and mine had some serious problems. And is you do a bit of searching with Google or so, you'll find the tests that it won't do more that 95 mins and 35-50 secs.

yeah you are right i did a lot of reading this morning and concluded that plextor is no longer really woth its money. at the same time i was astonished to see that there seems to be no ideal solution even in this field. i found no single review of a brner that could satisfy in all respcts. some write 1GB cds but do notwork well with copy protected cds etc. my current favourite is the mitsumi 48x burner which seems to be abel to do both. yet it also has some drawbacks especially regarding writing and reading speed. well ... it seems you cant have everything
