S40 D Engine Number

is it not on the sticker on the side of the cam belt cover?

Thanks Alfonz and Chris, yes there is a sticker on the cover with the last 6 digits of the engine number. The only reason for checking was out of curiousity, I recently received my new style V5 from dvla and as I bought the car second hand thought I would double check chassis and engine numbers. Chassis number was no problem but engine number seemed more of a challenge. Fortunately, all seems to match so I can file away the V5. Thanks again. Stuart
