Hey I got a 30G Maxtor as a secondary drive I use it for PTLE only and it works excellent my only complaint is I paid more than $179.00 bucks for it!

I've got 3 Maxtor DiamondMax Plus drives in my G4 - a 15G for the system, a 27G for audio and a 40G for audio (in the Zip drive bay). All work great. I just completed a live recording of 120 minutes in length, recording on 16 tracks to the 40G drive with NO problems - not a single error all night! Got an IBM 30.7G & already had some kind of wierd drive error on a session and it's also kind of noisy. Thinking of losing it soon...
