Is the default program icon going to stay for the final release?

I'm sad about the new icon and splash screen because my Reaperotor now is dated, so i'd have to "build" a new one. But probably there are more important things in life... :D

I think the same as the op. I think the v3 logo looks awesome and I don't like the colors of the new one. the colors are too bright and don't fit together. I expected a slight change in the logo for v4, just to make it different.
