just for the record: i use an asus gf4 4400 w/ DVI on a compaq tft 8030 and everything is fine (so it's probably not the geforce but rather the display?)...

I remember this could be a problem with AMD and VIA Chipsets in conjunction with high AGP-Settings (4x and Fastwrite enabled). Propably the latest 4in1 will resolve this. But I think a firmware-update of the card is needed. Do you use the reference Detonator of NVidia?
