Letting a rig freeze?

Condensation is no good, either. When computers are packed for shipment, they're usually wrapped in plastic with those little bags filled with tasty silica. Interesting about the Apple liquid cooled computer storage specs. Interiors of vehicles will often exceed 116 degrees F during the summer. If equipment is left out in 20 degree or below weather, I think you'd want to allow a lot of time for it to get re-acclimated to room temperature and humidity. It most likely take some time for the interior of the hard drives to warm up. Lee Blaske
