how to kill reaper.exe?

Since the root-kit blow-up I never buy or use anything from Sony. No phones, no CDs, no TVs, no nothing... With me, they blew it big-time with their (attempt at) customer oppression.

Every once in a blue moon Reaper will have to shut down unexpectedly, and the process hangs. I simply turn my soundcard off and the process stops; then I turn it back on and restart Reaper and everything's fine again. Same deal every time, but it rarely happens...
