clicking from one region to the next

I'm pretty new to Pro Tools. I just recently EQed a Bass track on a song and I split the bass track into multiple parts with different EQs. Now when I play back the song, a click or tick type of noise is heard as the cursor moves from one region to the next on the bass lines. I'm starting to think I shouldn't have split up the track. Anyways, is there some way I can get rid of these clicks? I tried looking at the wave forms and nothing seems to be abnormal.

It sounds like you've clipped the audio file part way through a wave. Zoom in so you can see the waveform as lines. Where you are getting clicks zoom in (horizontally & vertically) so that you can see where the wave starts. more than likely, where you've cut/separated the files, you will see the wave form is not going thru zero. move the edit point so that you do go thru zero. select all the regions and type apple-F to get the fade window, add a very short fade to all the beginnings and ends.
