If you had checked the Digi qualification page you would've seen you have 2 or 3 incompatibilities. Keith at Digi said that? I'm surprised. He was nothing but helpful to me. They respond a little differently if you don't have a spec system. If you're spec, they'll go to the ends of the Earth to get your system running.

Maskedman did you buy this box from DAWBOX with the intention of using Protools?If so then I think they are the ones responsible for getting your system right don't you think?

Maskedman, Hey man, I am not sure what your setup is, but I have been using a SATA drive for the last 4 months and it works fine. I still get the Bounce to Disk bug, but that is only on occasion. Not all the time. The SATA drive works great though. In reality, I ran the RAPTOR test and it turns out that my IDE drive was a tad faster on through-put. Kinda strange. I have the system set like this: A78NX board AMD 2400+ 1 Gig of DDR400 ram 1 x 40 gig IDE 133 drive - OS and APPS ONLY! 1 x 80 gig IDE 133 drive - partitioned to a 40/40 (backups and some other stuff) 1 x 80 gig SATA 150 drive - (PRO TOOLS AUDIO ONLY!) Geforece TI 4600 dual monitor video card.... Works great! I actually have the SATA running in RAID 1 +0 and it is great. The adapter sees one so it is fine. It took some configuring, but it works.
