"Apply FX as new take"/render problem at 48khz

Hi I've got a project that is set to 48000hz/16 bit for syncing to a video. The problem is whenever I do an "Apply FX as new take" on a midi clip on a track with a VSTi, the resulting audio is off-key, slightly lower than it should be. I suppose it has to do with the project being set at 48000hz but I can't see how to solve that problem. [edit] exact same problem when bouncing tracks to stems. Can someone help? thanks d

Check this in the project setting (ALT+enter) and set it to 48kHz:

Thanks, I've tried it, but same problem. The project is set to 48000, so is my souncard. Any other ideas?
