Please, for the love of all that is holy, make a feature to make it possible to export my FX folders. It takes a really long time to create and arrange all those VSTs in folders, so it would be great to be able to just import the folders and have all my FX folders set up if I switch computers. Also, to be able to drag and drop the folders instead of the CLUNKY "move up, move down, move to top, move to bottom" would be great.
If you maintain identical folder paths for your plugins on both computers, you can simply export your config and import it on the other computer. They'll be there. It's an unfortunate limitation that Reaper looks for them by full path and not by name or something less prone to change. Even changing the containing folder name will cause a plugin to disappear from your custom folders. We also have a tool available (not ideal but still lots quicker) for organizing these:
You could export/import, or just copy the 'reaper-fxfolders.ini' file. It has all your FX favorites with their full file paths, so if copied to another PC you may still need to add/edit the file by hand or in REAPER.
