ok, here's the deal. i've been working on the 001 for about a year and a half and everything has been absolutely perfect. no problems with dae errors or some of the other problems i see posted here. BUT... suddenly i am getting the following message during operation (which of course stops playback): "The operating system held off interupts for too long. If this occurs often, try increasing the H/W Buffer Size... (-9092)" has anyone seen this before??? if so what the crap does this mean? there seems to be no rhyme or reason... it is totally random and seems to happen several times close together and then not for a while. i did increase the buffer size and at first i thought it helped but then it started again. regardless, i don't want to have to increase buffer size because of the latency issue. the only change to my system recently is the addition of the native instruments "studio collection" plug ins, but that was over a month ago and this just started happening 2 days ago. as always, my deepest gratitude in advance for any advice or information. ~fikafer
when I first got my system (a few months ago) I got that error all the time and other weird stuff. My dealer, having just installed everything(something he's done a zillion times), assumed it was a corruption in the hard disk. One low level format later the problem was solved. So.. maybe check your hard disk. I don't know what exactly the problem was, or how you can fix it with a less drastic solution, but that was my experience - good luck!
