Dumb cable question: AES/EBU to S/PDIF for 001

This is a pretty basic question, but I've not had to do it before: I want to send the AES/EBU output from a pair of Lavry A/D converters (24-bit, 44.1) into the 001. Likewise, I will come out of the 001 S/PDIF connectors and go to a pair of Lavry D/A converters. Do I need a transcoder to convert from AES/EBU to S/PDIF for the 001, or can I simply buy a cable that has an AES/EBU connector on one end and a S/PDIF connector on the other end? FYI, I have a Kramer 465 transcoder, but it converts AES/EBU into optical S/PDIF, so the S/PDIF connectors are optical, not RCA-like. Thanks.

Different voltages and impedances, slight protocol differences - a simple cable won't work, you'll need some converter.
