Noise with BFD

I am getting a strange noise on most samples in BFD Eco since I updated Reaper. Rolling back to that version didn't fix it. Reinstalling BFD vst and samples didn't You can hear it on the decay of the kick here. I have never heard anything like it, so I've been at a loss as to even where to start trouble shooting. Googling didn't help either. Help please.

Wish I could help, but I'm in the same boat. My BFD2 and Reaper don't play well together. Lots of glitches, and hiccups even with a fast machine (i7, 8gigs RAM). Kontakt, AD, and EZDrummer all work perfectly.

Did you turn off your swap/page file in Windows by chance? If I recall correctly BFD is one of those apps that gives weird behavior when there is no swap file.

That didn't help. Any other ideas? FXpansion tech support has been 0 help so far. They suggested it had too much compression on it. A noise floor issue. The noise starts well before even -30. wth.

1 Compress a simple problem project file and the problem audio sample into a ZIP file and post it here as an attachment so we can have a look at it and see what's (not) happening? 2 Post that project off to FXpansion too.

Well I can hear a decaying fizz sound, but no (un)educated guesses. Which Eco kit / kick is it?

I don't have the Jazz Maple Expansion here, only the factory ECO kits. If your upload could use one of those I could try it here.

Here is an upload that is doing making the sound. I think the toms and kick are stock BFD Eco drums. That is where it is most apparent. If you dont have those compressors, just swap out any, obviously easier to hear with compression on. There is noise immediately after the transient, and maybe even on it being masked.

No sound on the Kick here, must be a non-ECO kit piece.
