The same file done on build 3 is different then done on build 2 with the same settings. The build 2 produces a file that appears to be more of a widescreen with black blocks on top and bottom and build 3 fills the whole screen. It's the same file (anime divx) and the subtitles are fine, but I'm confused why there is a difference. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or is this some of the new .avi screen sizes that I was reading about in the new build that are implemented? Thanks for this excellent program. I love converting my anime divx files to svcd so that I can watch them on my DVD player!!!
thanks Gerti. I'm posting my next question back under the basic topics becuase I feel my next question to the information I read is totally noobie and probably not apropro for the "advanced" forum. I had read that information before and can now see how it relates to what I was asking. To be honest, I kind of dig the widescreen effect that build 2 gave me. Now on to my next question about editing values. In the post you mention "Any resize" and gave some values for ntsc, however, when I went to edit the file, I can't locate "Any resize" anywhere, all I can find is "simple resize". That setting was (480,480). Is that correct? Becuase in one of the posts you mentioned that the correct size for NTSC was "AnyResize(480,278)". I've never edited a file before, so I left it as is and moved on. Or was there another thing I should have checked under the dvd2svcd (avi) menus before I started? Thanks...sorry for the qeustions!
