OT: Arpeggiator question.

Hi there I own a Korg ms2000, which features a very simple arpeggiator. What I want to do is: Build an arpeggiator pattern up from scratch. Choose my own chords, sounds etc. Do any of you guys know if this is possible, with any hardware or software? Thanks Pindebraende

Pindebraende, Take any sequencer thats laying around, play or enter manually any sequence or pattern of notes you like, set them up in a repeating loop, then hit play, and adjust the speed with the tempo and/or the note values or both. Try quarter notes to start with.....give each note the same value if you want to achieve that classic arpeggiator sound, or get fancy and mix 'em up...you choose Send this out to any module you wish ....it'll work just like an arpeggiator....that's all an arpeggiator is anyway is a simple sequencer......hope that helps. ps. you can do that with a protools midi trac if you don't have a spare sequencer around.
